EMBODIED LIFE with Karen Nelson
First! Dig this: Triangle Attention: My friend Erin Geesaman-Rabke in her on-line course FLOURISH uses a triangle to demonstrate the possibility of choosing to let our attention stay stuck in our heads, or to direct attention also to our bodies. Most of the time our triangles are inverted, where there is more attention in our heads. Does that ring true for you? Simple body awareness practices can bring attention back to the body, to a right side up triangle where we can “think from the belly” and still hear the thoughts that help us in our day-to-day life.
Flip your Triangle right side up when you start to feel flipped out!

Embodied Life practices include:
· Feldenkrais influenced/Embodied Life Awareness thru Movement Lessons: elements of every day movements are practiced often lying on the floor imbued with your gentle awareness. Familiar movement patterns emerge that make sense to the nervous system and forge new, healthy pathways, that leave you feeling good.
· Embodied “Speaking-Listening” influenced by “Focusing”
· Body based zen influenced Meditation
